JOPLYN​​​ is a young ​​​songwriter, producer & vocalist​​​ from Berlin with an international (German, Vietnamese, Canadian) background.

Her music can best be described as ​​“post-genre”​, mysterious, dark, futuristic and emotive ​“Electronica x Deep House​.”​ Ethnic sounds combined with modern productions, fragile vocals against heavy beats.

Lyrically, ​JOPLYN​’ s music is a product of the ​poems​ and short stories she writes. A sense of melancholy and reflection​, the​ loneliness​​ one feels walking down Berlin’s never-ending streets, passing by thousands of people. ​Topics like​ diversity​, as well as ​gender inequality​​ are also very dear to her heart.

Her music has already been remixed by electronic heavyweights such as ​​Booka Shade​, ​HOSH​, ​Robot Koch​, ​John Monkman​, and ​Florian Kruse​ ​and reviewed positively by major publications such as ​​Clash Magazine​​, ​Kaltblut Magazine​, B​illboard Asia​​​ ​and ​​DJ Mag​​. Several songs were also included in ​​Spotify​ editorial playlists such as: ​​​Off Pop​, ​New Music Friday Germany & UK​​, Indie Radar​​, ​Chill Tracks​, Herbst Chillout​, ​G​egen den Strom​​,​ ​Electronic Rising​​,​ ​Lowkey Tech​​,​ ​or ​​Dance Brandneu.​.. ​Just recently, she was handpicked by Spotify’s editorial team to be featured in their exclusive ​​Spotify Radar ​program​, which aims to bring exciting newcomer artists to an international audience.

With over 2 dozen singles released, ​JOPLYN​ has already accumulated​ over ​4 million streams​ on all streaming platforms​ and currently boasts​ ​approx. 200 000 monthly listeners​ on Spotify​. Last year, her single “​Outer Space​”​ was featured on the ​​Netflix ​show​ ​​“We Are The Wave​” ​(3rd episode) for over 2 minutes, subsequently garnering over ​10k Shazams​.

JOPLYN​ is also very active on her social media, especially ​Instagram​ where she regularly posts ​live studio jam videos​ and interacts with her followers. With her creative output she has been able to build a loyal following within her target audience of urban, young, mainly female electronic music lovers.

She also just worked with club giants ​​​BOOKA SHADE​​ ​​again in late 2020, their​ collaboration ​​“​POLAR LIGHTS​” , which she co-wrote, appearing on their latest ​album​ “Dear Future Self​” on Blaufield Music.
