Jay Tripwire is a Vancouver DJ that helped pioneer what we understand today as "tech-house." A true innovator and veteran of the scene with over 20 years of experience under his belt, he holds a position in dance music reserved for its most revered names.

Home Invasion boss Franck Roger knows his house music. The French producer’s raw, swinging productions have garnered praise from some of his earliest idols, like Kerri Chandler, Louie Vega, and Laurent Garnier. A dedicated crate digger since age 4, he continues to travel the globe and show kids worldwide "how it's done".

Around the turn of the century, Jay Tripwire burst onto the international scene with a run of remarkable singles, tracks that practically defined tech-house with their heavy percussion and detroit atmospheres. Whilebeatmakers around the world strove to imitate that sound, Tripwire evolved, developing a more melodic and sophisticated style marked by shifting chords and kaleidoscopic arrangements and created a production style that created a whole new underground movement and sound."His signature fusion of deep Detroit textures and intricate rhythms"(DJ Mag) has led a career spanning two decades, with over 300 vinyl releases, 2 commercial mixed cd compilations, and six full length albums. He remains one of the most prolific artists around, with an average of 15 releases per year and with numerous tracks hitting the Beatport top 10 for Techno, Deep House and Tech House sections respectively. He is always in demand as a remixer, averaging 15+ remixes per year. Jay has been honoured by being named by Future Music magazine- alongside Frankie Knuckles, Larry Heard, Charles Webster, Atjazz, and Tom Middleton as being one of the most influentual Innovators in house music for “The thoughtful minimal stylings of Jay Tripwire.”Whilst the term ‘ legendary’ is often bandied about with little thought,in Jay’ s case we could say just that his personal arsenal of re-edits and comfort in arranging extended DJ sets lasting eight hours ormore certainly demonstrates a talent that deviates from standard fare.Jay has made appearances in over 200 cities worldwide and some of his most memorable gigs have been in his 11 years of appearances at Fabric London- a venue that has changed his approach to Djing and his production sound.Mr. Tripwire is a man who stayed put while all of his his fellow Canadians packed up and moved to Berlin. Jay opted to stay in Vancouver and continues to play at select underground parties and clubs, with his cult like following in tow to whichever party they can hear their hometown hero at. As a music programmer Jay has organized and brought loads of talent to Vancouver, many of which for their first time to the city, not only exposing people to music through his own Dj sets, but also exposing people to new artists and DJs.2013 was a big year for collaboration projects with friends that will make their mark in 2014 and reads like a list of who's who. You will see collabs from the like of Pig and Dan, Joeski, Grant Dell, Dzeta n Basile, Jordan Peak, Sen-Sei, Dead Echo, David Rowlanz and an upcoming collaboration with Brett Johnson.Jay’ s work has been featured on numerous compilations, notably fromCocoon, Fabric, Renaissance, Journeys by DJ, Ultra & Bedrock, and is supported by a diverse spectrum of dance culture from house luminaries such as Doc Martin and Kerri Chandler to techno legends Steve Bug, Laurent Garnier, Anja Schneider, Marc Romboy and the world renowned John Digweed. With anticipated releases and remixes imminent, the Tripwire production wheel is still very much in motion and on its way to a club near you.

Franck Roger

With a career stretching back to the late 90s, Franck Roger is an artist whose dedication to his craft has established him as one of the leading lights in Paris. As both a DJ and producer he has proven himself to be a remarkable talent, remaining relevant and contemporary regardless of the latest trends. His music has a timeless quality, acquired from staying true to the roots of house music. As head of one of the most influential French labels, Real Tone, he helped to nurture new talent and supported many of the nation's bestknown artists. With such an impressive list of achievements you could forgive Franck for becoming complacent although, to the contrary, he is currently taking a new direction by reinventing himself... By the age of 19 Franck had his very first studio, a humble set up comprised an AKAI 2000 sampler, a midi keyboard and an ATARI computer. He began by sampling from his turntables and mixer, learning everything on the fly by himself with no outside help. This formed another core element of Franck's style – sampling, something which is still an intrinsic part of his production process today. Inspired by local hero DJ Deep, as well as US pioneers like Kerri Chandler, Jovonn and Blaze Franck began to immerse himself in the world of production, while also becoming a regular face on the Paris club circuit. By 2004 he'd gained worldwide recognition with his track 'No More Believe' made with M'Selem (featuring Chris Wonder), the same year he set up Real Tone with Lionel Marciano. Initially a home for the increasing surplus of hisown music, it evolved to become a platform for many younger artists, including Maya Jane Coles, Dyed Soundorom, The Martinez Brothers, Paolo Rocco and M A N I K. In the 10 years since then Franck has gained a reputation for representing only the very best in house music, in a variety of forms. From vocal hits like 'After All' with Mandel Turner to deep, tribal cuts such as 'Egotrippin' on Desolat. And now a new chapter begins as he introduces his Home Invasion project to the world. The concept is simple and harks back to a time before information technology dominated society. Before the internet, when music lovers would peruse the shelves of their favourite record shops to discover priceless gems, to chat with other music enthusiasts and spend time appreciating music in the real world. Home Invasion represents a raw, analogue sound with a distinctly human touch. It's a label, artist name and the concept behind a series of forthcoming parties taking place in Franck's hometown, Paris. It's a new lease of life for an artist who has constantly strived to be the best he can possibly be, a master of his craft and a loyal student of the roots of house music. Franck has dedicated his life to music and in doing so has achieved a level of quality that is unsurpassed. Home Invasion is the next exciting step in a career of a man who remains one of the most influential figures in France and on the global stage. Stay tuned...
