As the founder of Planet E Communications, Craig has built more than just a label—he’s created a global platform for experimentation, authenticity, and community, always centering the progressive ethos of techno. Driven not by fame or trend, but a deeply personal urge to satisfy his creative instincts, Craig has forged an influential path that’s expanded the boundaries of electronic music. His versatility is evident through a wide range of aliases, collaborations, and genre-spanning productions that integrate jazz, funk, hip-hop, and experimental sounds.

Craig’s impact transcends music. Through initiatives like his “All Black Vinyl” project and high-profile installations such as "Party/After-Party" at DIA\:Beacon and MOCA, he has become a cultural ambassador, blending sound art with powerful narratives of Black identity and Detroit resilience. He’s also engaged in educational and activist work, highlighting Black contributions to electronic music while mentoring the next generation.
