Maurice Fulton

Maurice Fulton is one of house music's true originals, an eccentric ex-pat American (currently living in Melbourne) DJ and producer who never fails to surprise and delight his listeners. His first album since the leftfield Stories Of A Broken Heart And Recovering which he recorded as Ladyvipb (for Nuphonic) is an altogether more accessible and dancefloor friendly affair... Maurice Fulton has been round the block in more ways than one, not only did he have a hand in producing Gypsy Woman by Crystal Waters, one of the most successful house tunes of the early '90s; he is the darling of both the underground house and leftfield scenes with an enviable back catalogue, he also has a capacity for landing himself 'in the soup'. Maurice is one of those hapless individuals to which trouble swarms like wasps to a honey pot. His most recent 'situation' saw him arrive home to find his record collection had been sold by his jealous girlfriend who, after discovering an unsolicited e-mail from a lady fan, suspected him of playing away from home. If it's going to happen to someone, it's going to happen to Maurice Fulton.

Born in the USA, raised in Portugal, Sergio Santos has spent half his life between the cities of Oporto and Boston. Now, his current base, Los Angeles. >Sergio Santos - (Culprit/FIAKUN/Get Physical - USA) Sergio Santos is a name in electronic music that has become synonymous with deep techno, dark disco, unique sounds and proper selections. Taking influence from both the United States and Portugal’s dance music scenes, Sergio has a sound unique to his life experiences and surrounding environments. After drawing inspiration from underground scenes abroad, Sergio came to Boston and began spreading his layered tastes with the masses. At 18, he began the journey, and established a residency in Boston at the Avalon Nightclub. Throughout time, Sergio joined a new team of producers from the Boston area to revive and renew America’s East Coast underground dance music culture. This team (Soul Clap, Tanner Ross, and Sergio himself) became known as S.E.C.T. Independently and in conjunction with S.E.C.T. Sergio has had a number of stellar releases, from the likes of labels like NYC’s Wolf & Lamb, Art Department’s No. 19 Music, Claude Von Stroke’s Mothership & Dirtybird, Get Physical, and Endless Flight. In addition to these releases, Sergio is responsible for launching the WeNo Music party in Boston with former music partner Tamer Malki (currently of Bedouin), premiering some of the biggest names in underground music to an eager fan base in the North East. Sergio now resides in Los Angeles, bringing new environmental inspiration to his music and playing out to many corners of the DTLA underground. He also has recently re-joined his Bostonian roots, releasing music on Boston based label Cenote Records, along side some other hometown heroes. Sergio also has played all over the world, notably including London, Ibiza, Tulum, New York, Miami, Detroit, SF, DC and many places in between both stateside and abroad. While Sergio’s musical voyage may have started years ago, it is far from over, as he is constantly contributing to East coast, West coast, and international underground projects.
