Desiree is skyrocketing, which should be no surprise, her style and talent set her apart from the same/same of the worldwide dancefloor. Her music style, an Afrocentric mood with an unshakeable loyalty to techno basics, is one of a kind.

Raised on a diet of electronic music Desiree has consumed the essence of Thom Yorke, Atoms for Peace, Gui Borrato and Jon Hopkins, delivering eclectic yet accessible sets that are impossible not to dance to.

From a prestigious Rackless Kazi DJ residency in Zambia to being a top 10 finalist for the UltraSA King of The Decks competition from over 500 entries, she has been rising ever steadily. 2021 was quite an exciting year for Desiree, with her first European tour alongside Black Coffee at Ushuaia in Ibiza, Watergate Open Air Festival in Berlin, Lost Village in the UK and La Clairere in Paris. She's gone from African rising star to international champion with her debut EP released in early 2022.

In just a short space of time, Desiree has catapulted from obscurity to become one of the most promising house music DJs in South Africa. Be sure to catch her set in the Club Level on Friday night.
