  • Alexi Delano

Alexi Delano dwells in the perfect balance between shiny minimalism and dark vivacious techno. With more than two decades on stage he has been able to combine different roots and facets of the contemporary music scale.

Born in Chile, raised in Sweden and later adopted by New York, Alexi together with fellow Swedes such as Adam Beyer, Cari Lekebusch and Jesper Dahlback became part of the Swedish wave of electronic music producers of the mid 90’s. Moving from Scandinavia to New York influenced him to combine the heavy compressed Swedish sound with the vibrancy of the creative music scene of Brooklyn.

Throughout his time in the music industry, Alexi has produced five albums and released countless amount of records on established labels such as the historic SVEK imprint, Plus 8, Minus, Drumcode, H-Production, Get Physical and many more. With a production and DJ style that sways neatly between house and techno, he is consistently able to re-invent himself with each new release.

    Delano Smith

Delano Smith was one of the first ‘mobile DJs’ in a city that embraced DJ culture early on, before Music Stores sold more turntables than guitars. Emerging as one of the top progressive DJs in Detroit during the 80s, alongside the legendary Ken Collier (RIP), Smith mastered the art form while playing the underground and club parties that set the stage for today’s global party circuit. After taking time off from Djing in the 90s to pursue personal interests, Smith began playing events again after receiving numerous requests from promoters. Smith began producing music in 2002 and released his first track, “Tribunal of Souls” on Psychostasia Recordings. Later that year, his successful contribution to the internationally recognized Detroit Beatdown Vol. 1 on Third Ear Recordings inspired him to launch his own label to bring his music, along with other artists, to the global house community.

    Camea

soundcloud | facebook | resident advisor

Her sound can be described as Seattle cool meets Brooklyn edge meets Berlin chic, and it has secured her a regular tour schedule worldwide. Camea was born and raised in Seattle as a classical and jazz pianist and music enthusiast, and in her youth she studied a variety of instruments and played in several bands. She started collecting records and experimenting with electronic music in the late 90s, and in 2002 she relocated to Brooklyn, NY, where the city's intense artistic environment deeply inspired her.

Her passion for collecting and playing music continued to evolve as she acquired several regular club nights in Manhattan and spawned Clink Recordings, and on Friday evenings she had a radio show with Ambivalent (M_nus, Ovum) on East Village Radio. Eventually Camea began to tour internationally and moved to Berlin in 2007, where she still resides today and is currently signed to Bpitch Control, one of the world's premier underground labels that can be credited in the evolution of artists like Ellen Allien, Paul Kalkbrenner, Apparat and Modeselektor.

Camea is a passionate performer and blends her more traditional musician roots with classic and modern house and techno. Her tracks have topped sales and DJ charts on many occasions, and she has been center stage at many of the world’s hottest clubs and festivals. Even though DJing has stayed the forefront of Camea's passion, when she is not touring she spends most of her time in her studio in Berlin. She released her first solo EP in 2006 and has achieved a lengthy discography of original work and/or remixes on labels like Bpitch Control, M_nus, Clink, Soma, Plus 8 and Get Physical. Since her relocation to Berlin Camea has become one of the handful of women from America to make it to the International stage for her genre.

    Bella Sarris

soundcloud | facebook | resident advisor

Bella's early fascination with the dance floor and hunger for musical experience has taken her around the globe, and taught her very quickly how to play with the big kids. With a two year residency at ENTER under her belt, she continues her education, constantly inspired by fellow artists and the dance floors they command. Being a student of her surroundings, her music continues to evolve with age and influence as she absorbs her musical experiences and strives to transmit the same energy in her sets.

In a time where genres blur and overlap, her style of mixing has no rules or restrictions just like her. You cannot put Bella or her sound in a box. Each must have the freedom to roam far and wide. The web of grooves that she weaves, like her musical education is ever progressing. When she's not dancing, or on a plane or in an airport, she resides in Berlin where she spends her days digging, sculpting her mixes and beginning productions. Her decision to be part of a new, smaller, boutique agency stems from her desire to 'keep things tight'. Working closely with her friends allows independence and freedom of choice, and thus more control over her musical direction. She would rather grow and develop with a slightly dysfunctional but accepting family than be adopted into an already established one. Bella forges ahead in an limitless environment. Observing what she hears and how the crowd responds to it, she applies the same intensity in her music that she felt when she jumped that first fence.

    David Waxman

There are only a few people in the music business that are as multi-facited as David Waxman. From nightclub promoter, to nightclub manager, to DJ and producer, to A&R director and label executive at the largest electronic music company in the world, he is the epitome of diversity. He has mixed 15 compilations, selling over 1/4 million units in total, ranging from house to chilled, to club classics, to electro, to trance and you can hear this diversity in his live DJ sets. Whether he is playing at one of the largest clubs in in the country, or an ultra exclusive VIP club, he has a unique style that transcends genres. This native New Yorker has been working professionally behind the decks for over 20 years and although starting off in the city that never sleeps, Waxman first gained notoriety during his residency in South Beach at the celebrity infested Liquid, where he was first to import the New York progressive sound that became popular for years to follow. Upon returning to the New York club scene, he was offered a monthly residency at the world famous Twilo. His monthly residency evolved into a weekly Saturday night residency opening for Junior Vasquez and David's 7 hour sets were praised by Mixer, Muzik and Mixmag magazines. Soon after, David was scouted by the Crobar nationwide club chain landing him as one of the residents at Crobar NY and Miami. He now can be seen and heard behind the decks at various clubs around America, but when he's not playing the hottest records on the weekends, he is signing them during the week to Ultra Records, where he is the head of A+R and General Manager.
