Back in 2012, Lakeland, FL production duo Coyote Kisses was one of the first groups to emerge out of the exciting, post-Skrillex wave of American electro/dubstep music that would later be referred to as the “EDM Bubble”. What set producers Bryce Bresnan and Joe Sussingham apart from their peers were their luxuriously detailed compositions. When most producers were experimenting by throwing sounds in a blender, Coyote Kisses was able to utilize these sounds to craft intricate progressive tunes (most notably on their “Jedi Theme” remix as well as a slew of other originaltracks released that year).

This ability gave them an authentic voice within the dance community that allowed them to be heard through the droves of bedroom producers who were coming up at the time. It is this voice that has allowed them to navigate through the changes the music industry experienced as a result of the EDM Bubble. Although their sound has evolved throughout the years, the quality of their music remains intact. Their latest Next Wave Records release, “illusion” recently hit #1 on Hype Machine, and their previous single, “Sunny Day” has over 20 k likes on Soundcloud to date. Both songs represent a more nuanced sound from the producers, signaling their growth both musically and within the industry.
