Soul Clap, the dynamic duo of Charles Levine (Lonely C) and Eli Goldstein (Bamboozle), formed their unique identity in Boston's 90s rave scene, rooted in
the spirit of P.L.U.R. (Peace, Love, Unity, and Respect). Their journey began with cosmic origins—a collision of intergalactic funk influences like Sun Ra and
the P-Funk Mothership—which set the tone for their genre-defying sound. With guidance from early mentor Caril Mitro and a deep reverence for the many forms of house music, Soul Clap developed a sonic philosophy that honors the past while embracing the future.

Their rise to prominence came through standout remixes, edits, and originals with labels like Wolf + Lamb, and culminated in the creation of EFUNK—"Everybody’s Freaky Under Nature’s Kingdom"—a sound that merges electronic music with funk's bold spirit. EFUNK became both a debut album and a movement, earning them a collaboration with George Clinton and a place in the P-Funk legacy. Over the years, they’ve continued to make waves with notable mix series (DJ Kicks, Fabric, Watergate), the launch of Soul Clap Records, and the CREW LOVE collective.

Never ones to stand still, Soul Clap has embraced education, mentorship, and constant reinvention. Recent years have seen the duo reunite for new releases
and the formation of The Soul Clap Band, an ambitious live project that debuted in grand fashion at Movement Detroit. As they take their EFUNK party across cities and continue to break musical boundaries, Soul Clap stays true to their mission: connecting the dancefloor to cosmic consciousness, one groove at a time.
