US native, Gene on Earth moved to Berlin after 2010, struggling to find his footing as a producer. Inspired by sets from Zip and Nicolas Lutz, the Berlin based DJ decided to give it one last attempt before calling it quits. What a decision that was as Gene on Earth went on to provide six smashing EPs along with an album titled “Local Fuzz.” After two long years, the Limousine Dream label boss returns with his craft to Flash. 

He will be joined by Berlin native, Janina. The German DJ and Producer has been at the foundation of the city’s underground scene for over fifteen years, landing a residency at the infamous Club der Visionäre after first playing there at the young age of 18. She’s played alongside the biggest names in electronic music including Ricardo Villalobos, Richie Hawtin, Robert Hood, Chris Liebing, Juan Atkins, and Ellen Allien among others. Gaining recognition from RA as a Top 5 Key Performance for her warm up set for Richie Hawtin and Chris Liebing at Sonus festival, she currently hosts her own nights at E1 (London) and Tresor (Berlin). This is a night not to be missed.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS: 

Gene on Earth:

Gene awakens in the hazy sunlight of his own world, heading towards the horizon on the road to everywhere and nowhere all at once. Once a monochrome existence, he’s found himself now submerged in a vivid technicolour dream world. Wherever it leads, he’ll find out soon enough.

Janina:

Janina is one of those rare artists that has become a household name by power of her sheer will and talent. Enthusiastic and obstinate would probably be two good adjectives to describe Janina, a Berlin born & based DJ, who has been above all a pillar of the Berlin electronic underground scene for over fifteen years.

After dropping out of school and having bought her first turntables in her teens, Janina built a deep knowledge of electronic music and developed a deep interest in vinyl records, while working at the Berlin DNS Record Store. Lively and full of curiosity, it became obvious to Janina that she would dedicate her time and energy to music when she discovered the BeatStreet parties and got her first Perlon Records in age 16 as a present from Sammy and Zip.

She first rose to prominence through her active residency at the needs no introduction Berlin Club der Visionäre. It was there she developed her impressive sharp ear, technical skills and an assertive signature style, despite continuously evolving music tastes. After performing her first gig at Club der Visionäre at the tender age of 18, where she has been a resident since then and hosting her own nights there, Janina has performed at the most legendary nightclubs in most European capitals, with her ears and eyes always looking at the crowd.

Year 2013 brought her to move to Moscow where she got her Residency at Monasterio Club. She left Moscow in 2016 and going straight to Ibiza where she played for Richie Hawtins Enter at Space Club and holding her Residency at Sankeys Club for Unusual Suspects. She left Ibiza after 1 Year and moved to London, looking for a new Adventure where she met the Team behind E1 and got her Residency there.

While sharing the decks with Ricardo Villalobos, Richie Hawtin, Robert Hood, Chris Liebing, Juan Atkins, Ellen Allien and other artists around the world, she now has her very own night at famed Tresor Club in Berlin and still holding her Residency at London’s E1. Her mixes for Into the Valley music festival and Vice Magazine have received rave reviews. Her warm up Set for Richie Hawtin and Chris Liebing at Sonus festival got on Resident Advisors top 5 Key Performance. Playing shows from NYE night at DC10 to legendary Berghain/Panorama Bar, to

Sonus Festival, Movement Festival or Big Burn in Istanbul. Passionate, creative and constantly willing to improve the electronic landscape. Janina is working now on her first release.
