Trained as a classical musician in his early years, Etapp Kyle’s musical trajectory took a 180 after his first club experience. The Ukraine native eventually moved to Moscow where he landed his first residency at ARMA 17 and honed his DJ craft, focusing on the dark, spacey and ultra-detailed techno for which he is known today. After meeting Ben Klock on a trip to Berlin, Etapp went on to release multiple times on Ben’s Klockworks label and established himself as a technical producer. Etapp Kyle’s productions and DJ sets alike offer pristine and exploratory sci-fi landscapes while deftly avoiding the clichés of intergalactic techno. Join us for another edition of CONTACT, as we embark on a journey with Etapp Kyle on Thursday, October 6th.
