With a background in playing piano, guitar and bass, as well as composing various TV and film works, Netherlands’ Eelke Kleijn is truly a rare creative who is consistently crossing boundaries. He has found much success with his self-created label, radio show, podcast, and party series, DAYS like NIGHTS. The label has mainly provided an outlet for his own creations, but has supported some of his other favorite artists and hopes to continue to bring more exciting new talent to the decks. Eelke Kleijn is more than just an electronic producer but is seen and cherished by many as a true modern day composer and curator. DC is lucky to catch him on Thursday, April 9th as he touches down on the Club Level from Rotterdam Netherlands.

Eelke Kleijn is a rare talent. With work stretching across movie trailer scores, deep live shows and incredibly well formed production, he crosses a boundary from electronic producer and into a true modern day composer.

The fact that Eelke Kleijn DJs in his socks and produces in a standing position tells you a lot about what you need to know about him. He never feels more at home than when he’s behind the decks, and there’s no separation between the booth, his studio and the dancefloor. This natural air that he brings to all facets of his music is something that’s reflected in its organic feel, and it has helped his creative identity to shine in a crowded scene.
