Octo Octa and Eris Drew’s energy on the decks is like no other, as their sounds complement each other perfectly. Eris brings her breakbeat rave + futuristic and psychedelic sound, while Octo Octa provides her signature sunny house. Flash is proud to welcome back Octo Octa and Eris Drew as they take us into their world, a place stocked with rave vinyl, 90s house, mixer tricks, and endless love for the music and for each other. Join us for an unforgettable night in the District, with house music’s best ambassadors as they portray its original principles...radical acceptance and music that's guaranteed to take you to a higher place. 

In our Green Room, we will be joined by Romanian DJ and Producer, Nu Zau. He has gained massive recognition through the years as the likes of Raresh, Rhadoo, Ricardo Villalobos and many others can be heard playing his tracks. The Uvar label boss (which he runs with fellow Romanian Sepp), can best be described as dark, percussive, and funky, blending old school records and new wave productions seamlessly.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS: 

Octo Octa & Eris Drew:

Eris Drew and Octo Octa are loving partners who often DJ side by side. Their legendary B2B set is rooted in their shared vision of the dance floor as a site for ritual healing, ecstatic bonding and the pure experience of the power of music. They've been playing worldwide and bringing audiences along with them on their journey. Named the best DJs of 2019 by Mixmag, recently featured in Crack Magazine, DJ Mag and more. Eris and Octa also work together on the T4T LUV NRG party series and record label: "T4T LUV NRG releases limited edition alchemical objects for use in DJing, dancing, kissing and crying."

 

Nu Zau:

Nu Zau is one of the leading producers and djs that have come out of Romania in the past few years. Inspired by already well established names such as Ricardo Villalobos, Rhadoo, Thomas Melchior and many others, he's grown into a Romanian household name in a very short year span. 

Dark, percussive, funky and quirky would be the best way to describe his sound, already having released on labels such as Fear Of Flying in 2012 with his debut vinyl release "Pason/Deja Vu" and his debut album on Archipel, released digitally. Since then he's signed EP's, individual tracks and remixes on many other labels such as Gilesku Records, Aeternum Music, Memoria Recordings and Uvar, which he co-runs with fellow Romanian Sepp. 

His productions have gained worldwide recognition - Raresh, Rhadoo, Ricardo Villalobos, Petre Inspirescu, Fumiya Tanaka, Onur Ozer, Bill Patrick are only a few of the people that can be heard playing his tracks.

As a DJ he seamlessly blends through oldschool records and new wave productions alike, crossing borders musically and inspiring people wherever he plays, be it in romanian clubs such as Studio Martin or Kristal Glam Club, or beyond romanian borders - Sankeys (Ibiza), Gipsy (Moscow),Origami (Tokyo),Bloc (Barcelona), Hopetosse (Berlin),Paradigm (Groningen, NL), Pfingstweide (Zürich,Switzerland),Underground (Ibiza) Pigallion (Paris, FR),Crucifix Lane (London, UK),The Wood (Brussels),Rodnya (Moscow),Tante Emma Club (Innsbruck, Austria), Facktura(Odessa,Ukraine), Concorde Atlantique (Paris, FR), and many others.
