Join us for a night of witchery at Flash, filled with tunes that will have you feeling possessed with good vibes. A night featuring drink specials, witches brew, and decor by Empire of K. To combat a night of witchery, we have Ilario Alicante. The Italian native’s progression has been nothing short of amazing after a historic Time Warp debut at the age of 15. Since then, the VIRGO and Deep Moves boss has had acclaimed productions for Cocoon Recordings, Drumcode, Cécille Records and SCI + TEC Digital Audio. Playing major festivals and headlining the world’s most renowned clubs, Ilario Alicante has established himself at the forefront of today’s techno scene. 

He will be joined by Mutek programmer and Musique Risquée label cofounder and producer, Vincent Lemieux. Every year since 2001, he has treated Berlin’s Panorama Bar patrons to his refined musical palate at the Get Perlonized nights.When not spinning records, Vincent Lemieux contributes to MUTEK’s ever-esteemed programming. Since 2000, he has helped shape the sonic and visual identities of the event, now considered a key highlight on the international electronic music and digital arts festival circuit.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS: 

Ilario Alicante:

Born in Livorno, Italy in 1988. From a young age Ilario’s passion for music was evident and  unstoppable. He improvised at producing music in his bedroom with equipment he pieced together himself, and instinct drew him further into the world of electronic music with all of its many shades and secrets.. But Ilario embodies positive energy and nothing could stop his insatiable desire to travel and increase his knowledge and understanding.

Primarily a clubber at heart, he lived the nightlife dancing in the best nightclubs in Europe, mainly in Germany and, obviously, Ibiza.  From there, Ilario saw the light. He was able to synthesize his musical vision (combined with the feeling he believed the dancers were experiencing on the floor) into one track, his breakthrough hit - ’Vacaciones En Chile’.

It was 2008. And the birth of the artist Ilario Alicante.

He cemented his extraordinary talent with the track 'Living Near Africa’ (Cecillé Rec). It was an explosion that broke all of the rules and made him the youngest artist to step onto the podium of Rotterdam’s iconic and celebrated festival, Time Warp!

But that was only the beginning....

Vincent Lemieux:

 

DJ, record dealer, MUTEK programmer, Musique Risquée label cofounder and producer: Vincent Lemieux is what you’d call a consummate music lover.

Known for his across-the-board contributions to Montreal’s electronic music landscape, Vincent Lemieux is about to take a great leap forward when he unveils his debut album alongside Guillaume Coutu-Dumont, his long-time partner in rhythm. Under the moniker Flabbergast, the pair will release No1 on Circus Company in October 2015.

Having rapidly ascended the DJ ranks thanks to his impeccable taste, Vincent Lemieux does not limit his musical diet to a single genre. While he remains partial to techno and house, disco, funk, soul, hip-hop and other groovy offshoots do not leave him unmoved. In Montreal, he has performed at his mythical Soirée Risquée and Disco Dessert nights, on top of countless clubs, bars and parties. On the international front, Vincent Lemieux can pride himself on putting his passport to very good use. Every year since 2001, he has treated Berlin’s Panorama Bar patrons to his refined musical palate at the Get Perlonized nights. He’s also brought revellers and festivalgoers to their feet in Chile, Mexico, Colombia, China, Japan, Italy, Switzerland, France, Belgium, Denmark, Brazil, Argentina, the United States, Spain, Russia, London’s Fabric and, naturally, on home turf in Quebec and across Canada. An already impressive tally that continues to grow.
