It all began with Leon Vynehall's slightly off-kilter, post-Futureboogie, UK house cut "Mauve.” The record heralded the arrival of a truly singular talent who followed up with solid releases, such as club hits "Brother" and "Butterflies," which gained support from the likes of Midland, George Fitzgerald, and Ben UFO among others. Today, Leon continues to make a big impact on the scene with his distinct style, drawing on and fusing elements from a variety of genres. His productions are a deft balancing act between gritty and light-footed sounds, but always come with a keen sense of melody. Vynehall’s impressive discography includes full length albums on 3024, Running Back, and Ninja Tune, most recently having released “Rare, Forever.” Catch Leon Vynehall on our Club Level with support from DC’s own Phillip Goyette.
